Welcome to Tales of Travel Design Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website and services, including browsing our shop, placing orders, or contacting us, you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully before using our site or purchasing from us.

1. Overview

Tales of Travel Design Studio is an independent creative business offering travel-inspired prints and designs made to order. Our online shop is powered by Shopify, which provides the platform and checkout services. All sales, however, are made directly between you (the “customer”) and us.

2. Eligibility & Account Responsibility

By using our website, you confirm that:

  • You are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
  • Any account or order details you provide are accurate and up-to-date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Product Details & Colour Disclaimer

We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible. However, due to differences in screen calibration and print processes, colors may vary slightly from what appears on your screen. These color variations do not qualify as product defects and are not eligible for refunds or returns.

All our products are made to order. Minor variations in color, alignment, or positioning may occur and are considered standard in print-on-demand production.

4. Orders & Payment

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. An order confirmation email will be sent once your purchase is processed. Please double-check your details, as changes may not be possible after the order enters production.

We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion (e.g., suspected fraud, pricing errors, or availability issues). If your order is canceled, we will notify you using the contact details provided at checkout.

Prices are listed in your local currency (where supported) and include applicable taxes. Shipping costs are added at checkout. We accept major payment methods via Shopify’s secure checkout. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment details.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We aim to process and ship orders promptly, but delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier, customs processing, weather events, or other factors outside our control.

Once an order has shipped, risk of loss transfers to you. Please ensure the shipping address is correct—orders returned due to incorrect address are not eligible for free reshipment.

6. Returns & Refunds

We accept returns for:

  • Items that arrive damaged or defective.
  • Incorrect or missing items.

We do not accept returns for:

  • Change of mind.
  • Print or size variations resulting from screen-to-print discrepancies.
  • Personalized or custom products.

To initiate a return, contact us via email within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. If approved, we’ll send instructions and a return label. Items must be in original condition and packaging.

Items returned without prior contact or outside the return window may not be accepted.

For EU customers, you are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period, during which you can cancel your order for any reason. This does not apply to made-to-order items.

7. Product Availability & Pricing

We reserve the right to:

  • Change product descriptions or pricing without notice.
  • Limit sales to certain regions or individuals.
  • Discontinue products at any time.

Promotions or discounts may be time-limited and governed by additional terms.

 8. Intellectual Property

All content on our site—including artwork, photography, branding, product names, and written copy—is the exclusive property of Tales of Travel Design Studio and may not be copied, reproduced, or used for commercial purposes without permission.

Note on Design Creation Tools
Some design elements or assets featured in our products may have been created or enhanced using AI-assisted tools. All final designs, compositions, and products are original works curated and edited by Tales of Travel Design Studio. Any use of generative technology is part of our creative workflow and does not affect our ownership or rights over the final artwork.

9. Third-Party Services & Tools

Our website may link to or include third-party services (e.g., payment processors, print partners). We are not responsible for their terms or actions. Use of such tools is at your own risk.

10. Shopify Relationship

Our store is hosted by Shopify Inc. While Shopify provides the e-commerce platform, all purchases are made directly with Tales of Travel Design Studio. Shopify is not responsible for our products, refunds, or customer support.

11. Errors & Inaccuracies

Occasionally, there may be typos, inaccuracies, or omissions in product descriptions, pricing, or availability. We reserve the right to correct such errors and cancel or update orders accordingly.

12. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our site or services:

  • For any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • To violate laws or infringe on intellectual property rights.
  • To transmit harmful code, spam, or false information.
  • To impersonate others or disrupt the website.

We reserve the right to terminate access for any misuse or violation.

13. Feedback

Any feedback, reviews, or ideas you share with us may be used to improve our services. You grant us permission to use submitted content for promotional or operational purposes without compensation.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, especially in case of breach. You will remain liable for any charges incurred prior to termination.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Tales of Travel Design Studio against any claims or damages resulting from your misuse of the site, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Tales of Travel Design Studio is based (currently Australia). Disputes will be handled in local courts unless otherwise required by applicable law.
